On Saturday, Israeli soldiers attacked a nonviolent procession against the escalating violations by the army and the illegal colonizers in the Tiwana village in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

Fuad Al-Amour, the Protection and Steadfastness Committees coordinator in Yatta, said the Palestinians held a nonviolent profession which included international peace activists and headed to the Palestinian lands, subject to constant violations and illegal annexation.

Al-Amour added that the soldiers fired many gas bombs and concussion grenades at the nonviolent procession.

It is worth mentioning that the soldiers and the colonizers have escalated their violations against the Palestinians and their lands in Masafer Yatta, especially the past two days after the army declared the lands as “closed military training zones.”
